OFFICIAL INFORMATION FROM FC SHERIFF

Rules for accreditation, press conferences and visits to the training ground

To provide the best possible working conditions for journalists, the press office of FC Sheriff (Tiraspol) publishes the rules for accreditation for home matches, participation in press conferences and visits to the training ground.

Match accreditation

Moldovan Championship and Cup

Accreditation for home matches is arranged before the start of the season upon prior application. Applications may be sent to the club by fax or to the press office by email.

Accreditation provides:

  • free entry to the Sheriff complex arenas on matchdays;
  • a seat in the press box;
  • the starting team sheet;
  • access to the mixed zone for brief interviews with players and coaches;
  • attendance at the post-match press conference.

Passes must be collected before the championship begins: they are not issued on the day of a match or round. If FC Sheriff reaches the Moldovan Cup final, accreditation for that match is handled by the Football Association of Moldova.

European competitions

Accreditation for home matches in European competitions is arranged upon prior application, within the deadline announced by the press office before each match.

Accreditation provides:

  • free entry to the main arena of the Sheriff complex on matchdays;
  • a seat in the press box;
  • the starting team sheet;
  • access to the mixed zone for brief interviews;
  • attendance at the post-match press conference.

The press office announces when and where passes can be collected in advance on the club’s official website.

Visits to the training ground

All visits to FC Sheriff’s training ground in Tiraspol — open days, friendly matches, training sessions and other events — require prior agreement with the club’s press office.

Accredited journalists may cover match-related events only in the immediate vicinity of the arena where the game is played. Filming at other facilities within the sports complex must be agreed with FC Sheriff’s press office.

Rules, restrictions and quotas

Pass quotas

Each publication may receive one special pass for work in the mixed zone.

Accreditation quotas:

  • media covering football — 2 passes, including one photographer;
  • sports publications — 3 passes, including one photographer;
  • online sports publications covering football — 1 pass;
  • radio stations — 1 pass;
  • television channels — 2 passes, including the camera operator.

Working at the complex

  • Media representatives may not enter the lobby of the teams’ and referees’ changing rooms.
  • Contact with players and coaches is permitted only in the mixed zone and the press conference room.
  • Match filming, subject to the necessary rights, is permitted only from designated positions.
  • Filming from other positions in the press box or stadium stands is prohibited.

Refusal and withdrawal of accreditation

FC Sheriff’s press office may refuse or withdraw accreditation in the following cases:

  • failure to comply with the accreditation application rules;
  • a journalist’s departure from a publication — the publication may accredit another employee;
  • closure of the media outlet;
  • dissemination of false information that harms the organisation or infringes the rights of its employees, where established by a final court ruling;
  • failure by a publication to provide five original articles about FC Sheriff;
  • breach of the rules of conduct at the sports complex arenas or the rules for access areas during a match.

Match broadcasts and images

All rights to video broadcasts of FC Sheriff’s home matches, including electronic rights, belong to the football club and are delegated to TSV television — www.tsv.md.

Live broadcasts on television channels or online platforms without an agreement on rights constitute copyright infringement. The press office may withdraw the offender’s accreditation and seek compensation for material and non-material damage in accordance with the law.
